Making the choice to be happy requires practice, showing gratitude and appreciation.
It requires the ability to keep coming back to a certain frame of mind. In tough situations, slipping into negativity and playing the role of the victim might feel more natural and we have all been there, some of us still do it now.
People often say to me you’re always so positive about things, the truth is I always haven’t been.. I have had stresses and traumas in my life from a very young age and it hasn’t always been easy.. but no matter what happens in your life you have a choice.
You can be happy or you can be sad. I would personally rather live a short life of happiness than a long life of sadness.
