I think people need to identify what good nutrition is and kind of work backwards from there.
Establish your goal and work backwards, break that down into smaller segments, so that it’s achievable, but everyone wants to kind of look a certain way in a certain timeframe, but actually miss the end result and not do the things that take them to the end zone.
Everybody’s looking at a quick fix right now and to be honest, like a lot of our attention spans are just very short right now. That is exactly the same thing when it comes to our fitness goals as well everybody wants to get somewhere fast. But getting that fast is not necessarily going to give you the results in the long run.
CrossFit’s prescription of Nutrition is 100 words, ‘eat meats and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar and keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not not body fat’.
That statement right there is so profound, it’s unbelievable. And we get lost in this whole this whole world of nutrition when it should be keep levels of food that will intake supports exercising but not body fat.
